If you begin to use a library that you don’t have installed, PyCharm will let you know and makes the installation process really seamless. RStudio could actually probably take a page out of PyCharm’s playbook, there.

NetBeans and PyCharm Reviews
I've tried NotePad++, PyCharm and most recently SublimeText, the latter 2 being IDEs vs a text editor with plugins. Below I compare the trial and free options, not the Pro versions.
PyCharm has lots of nice features - file browser, intelligent auto-completion, run in IDE with input & console windows for trial and error development.
I don’t use PyCharm Pro, but PyCharm CE is a GREAT tool for developing. Comes with the pip package management tool, which it has integrated seamlessly into its software. Easy interface, project bar. If only I could afford the Pro edition, that’s got to be great! USE IT!
